- Bearley is a small, rural village of less than 400 houses, this settlement would completely change the whole landscape, feel and culture of the area.
- The greenbelt should remain as it is, with the world focussed on climate change and biodiversity this development would go against both, reducing wildlife and laying down more concrete and tarmac.
- The infrastructure and public services such as roads, drainage, doctors surgeries and hospitals simply can't support the increased community.
- Increased traffic will be a safety hazard on what are already busy rural roads.
