The Local Plan prioritises sustainability, aiming for "20-minute neighborhoods" with essential services within a 10-minute walk. SG06, however, is not sustainable, as it is 30–60 minutes on foot from Leamington station and up to 2.7 miles from the nearest transport hub. The reliance on cars, highlighted by proximity to M40/A46, would worsen traffic. Additionally, the town’s historic layout prevents new cross-town routes, making northward housing expansion impractical since jobs and retail are mainly in the south. Building in SG06 would encourage car dependency rather than reduce it.
