There's no train station and minimal bus routes that take 30 mins to get to the local bigger towns of Stratford-upon-Avon and Banbury. The doctor surgery is already oversubscribed and struggles with giving the current population appointments. The same can be said for the High School which is also oversubscribed and lacking a sixthform, the closest options being Chipping Campden or Stratford-upon-Avon.
Shipston-on-Stour is at high risk of flooding and regularly does after heavy rain fall. Many of the sites are in or close to flooding zones 2 & 3 (refs: 148, 747, 062) as well as flood plains.
