The proposed site would subsume Middletown into Studley.
The local road network carries too much traffic and parts are already badly degraded due to overuse.
Local public transport is very poor.
The local high school has no sixth form and is currently oversubscribed.
Local health services such as medical and dental are under great pressure due to the existing numbers of patients.
The proposed site is on a large, sloping field that allows surface water to flood Middletown Lane. If much of this field is covered with houses, roads, driveways, etc. the flooding will be worsened.
