I oppose the proposed development east of Station Lane in Kingswood due to significant concerns regarding sustainability, local services, and environmental impact. The area, currently Green Belt, lacks the infrastructure to support new housing,. Schools are at capacity and inadequate public transport would lead to increased car reliance. The development would threaten local biodiversity and exacerbate flooding risks. Such an urbanisation would harm Kingswood's rural character and contradict sustainability goals, as highlighted by previous assessments. I urge the council to protect the Green Belt and maintain the current Built-Up Area Boundary.
