SG06 greenbelt comprises productive arable land growing cereals, oilseeds, protein crops & grassland, is farmed sustainably using direct drilling and companion crops for soil health, with overwinter cover crops which are beneficial to wildlife, plus well maintained grass margins and hedges providing cover and food to wildlife. The, tree, scrubland and water make it a wildlife haven adjacent to built up areas. SG06 has well maintained pathways allowing people to walk in the countryside benefiting their physical and mental health. The loss of this land used for food production, wildlife and people's wellbeing will be detrimental to the surrounding area.
