E1 should be a first-choice option based on its non-Green Belt location, its brownfield status, and the vast are of land availability. SDC should invest in re-opening the rail link to Honeybourne that would make transport infrastructure viable, and should look at alternative road expansion to the plan previously submitted which has left the new settlement at Meon Vale unsupported. Re-opening the rail link would provide genuine access to economic centres locally (Evesham, Stratford, Worcester) and the route to Oxford and London via Moreton-in-Marsh.
