Relating to the Clopton Quarter: To build on this land would irreversibly ruin the surrounding area, which has already seen so much 'new housing' in recent years. It would destroy greenbelt land, encroach on the Welcombe Hills, making it feel more like a 'City park' than the beautiful heritage site that it is today. The Birmingham road and surrounding area cannot cope with any more traffic congestion that would be inevitable with even more new housing . This would be too much urban sprawl into the surrounding green space - ruining it for generations.
