The high school is already oversubscribed. Some proposed housing is on floodplain and will affect flooding in town. The bridges to Brailes and to Honington are single lanes and not capable of taking the increased traffic. The town centre is very small with no space for expansion. There is already too much traffic and not enough car parking spaces in the town centre. Health and other services are already at capacity. There is already a nearly 2 year wait list for the NHS dentist in town. Shipston is on the edge of the county with limited transport links.
