Government guidance published on 27th February 2025 Supports this site in relation to urban sprawl and the amalgamation of settlements, stating that villages should not be considered large built up areas - In terms of the three "Purposes" identified, this site has a weak or non-existent contribution to openness and makes no contribution to the amalgamation of settlements under the terms of the new guidance.
