Hi - the proposal to increase the housing sock of hockley heath from 1800 to 2,875 is very alarming. It will completely swamp the current village. The local amenities - doctors, schools, police -etc are all struggling to cope with the current population of the wider local area. This plan will place a huge burden on these services - which i think are mostly provided by Solihull. Furthermore, the additional traffic, noise and pollution as well as loss of green belt and wildlife makes this an untenable proposition.
