REF ID 231 - this site is unsuitable for development. This green belt plot is adjacent to the River Avon (designated a Special Area of Conservation). The area identified, is an important wildlife corridor and habitat for badgers, bats, reptiles and water voles. It's also proximal to a mature, biodiverse, broadleaf woodland. The proposed site is accessed via a narrow lane (traffic incident hotspot) incorporating an old, single car-width, stone bridge (HGV access is not permitted). The proposed site is adjacent to a locally important heritage site, Grade II listed, Blackdown Mill. Development would increase flood risk for residents nearby.
