My Objection is for the Clopton Quarter:
1 Greenbelt Land: Loss of openness would irreversibly encroach on the Welcombe Hills Nature Reserve, a vital asset to the local and town community and not be encroached by urban sprawl of 700 new houses.
2 Landscape: SG18 would be highly visible from the local landscape and necessitate loss of hedgerows and habitats.
3 Ecology: Clopton Quarter joins Clopton House Meadow Local Nature Reserve and is close to the Welcombe Hills.
4 Air Quality & Traffic: Birmingham Road air quality is poor.
5 Flooding: The site is within Flood Zones 2 & 3.
