I strongly oppose the proposed housing development of 8,500 houses in Hatton, where I grew up. This plan would destroy the rural character of the area and ruin the countryside that I cherish. The potential increase in noise pollution, traffic, and loss of privacy for my family, particularly my mother, is deeply concerning. Specific plans around Holy Trinity Church would disrupt a peaceful resting place for my father. Additionally, building next to my mother's home would eliminate her views and affect her quality of life, threatening the local wildlife I valued in my childhood.
