There are badger sets in the area. They'd be decimated by the housing proposed. No sites have been proposed to offset the inevitable biodiversity los in the local area. Surface water naturally drains down the hill into the river Leam. Cubbington has a severe history of flooding - building on it's natural water run off will likely make this worse. It's unclear how the housing would be connected to the local sewerage network, e.g. without installing a significant amount of infrastructure through Newbold Comwyn which is clearly unacceptable
