I strongly oppose the proposed housing development in Hatton, where I grew up and where my mother still lives. The plan to build 8,500 houses would destroy the rural character of the area, leading to noise pollution and loss of green spaces. I am particularly concerned about developments near Holy Trinity Church, where my father is buried, as it would disrupt the peace of this historical site. Additionally, the plans adjacent to my mother's property would invade our privacy and destroy the natural beauty I cherished as a child. I believe Hatton should remain rural and protected from overdevelopment.
