Massive infrastructure cost required to provide the necessary access routes for all forms of transport - how is this FULLY funded?
Requires commitment from other agencies e.g. Network Rail to be committed to developing Hatton Station into a fully functioning commuter station.
Affordable housing is needed but not in rural locations without proper transport links.
The local area cannot support such an increase in both population and cars - 8,500 homes could mean 16,000 vehicles.
Proposed development contradicts the following SWLP draft policies: Green and Blue Infrastructure, Trees, Hedges and Woodland, Protecting and Enhancing Landscape Character and Agricultural Land.
