In conclusion, I strongly urge the council to reconsider this development, or at the very least, to scale it down significantly. The long-term negative impacts on our infrastructure, environment, and community spirit must be given more consideration in the planning process. I hope that the council will take the time to consult with local residents more thoroughly before making any final decisions.
