I strongly object to homes being built on the Clopton Quarter. This development would destroy valuable green belt land, harming the natural landscape and biodiversity. It threatens local ecology, endangering wildlife habitats. Increased traffic will worsen air quality, impacting residents' health. The area’s infrastructure cannot support the additional congestion. Furthermore, the risk of flooding will rise due to the loss of natural drainage. Preserving this land is crucial for the environment and future generations. This proposal is unsustainable and should be rejected. This urban sprawl will destroy the Welcombe Hills nature reserve.
