Shipston does not have the capacity for more houses, nor do we want more. Building on a flood plain is a horrible idea and will only lead to issues with runoff for existing residents. We already lack green spaces for locals and the proposal to use this land for yet more houses is abhorrent. We do not have the services or capacity to support the extra influx of people. The town gets gridlocked as it is, the extra houses will only put even further strain on local services and infrastructure.
