Increased flood risk to the town, 42% of fell mill site (148, 747) is in flood zones 3 & 2.
Additional strain on town amenities which are already stretched. Impact on the area of natural beauty and habitat. The bridge in Shipston floods frequently and would cut off these houses from the town amenities. Single wide bridge is not suitable for the level of development being suggested and additional amount of traffic. There are already numerous sewerage and drainage issues in the town caused by mismanagement of development and failure to upgrade infrastructure.
