Most of the proposed land is unsuitable for development. The bulk of the land east of Shipston is outside the town's boundary and is part of the parish of Barcheston/ Willington, which does not support additional housing. The requirement of major roadworks, to provide access, and the need for a new bridge to facilitate access have not been mentioned. No mention plans for additional schools and medical services. Shipston has had its services reduced despite additional growth in population. Little or no thought for the population with regard to their safety, particularly from flooding. This is totally unacceptable.
