Stratford upon Avon continues to become an urban sprawl, detracting from historic charm of town and fame as international tourist attraction. A green belt space, development will impact visually with a loss of openness as you approach the west side, in addition, the Clopton & Welcombe Hills Country park will be encroached upon, another tourist attraction (Monarch Way), as well as important local space, used extensively by local people. A wildlife corridor, home to roe deer, muntjac and numerous birds, resulting in direct loss of habitat to wildlife. Traffic pollution exacerbated on Birmingham Road, already heavily congested, with further flooding.
