The beautiful character of the historic village of Wilmcote, made famous by the home of Shakespeare’s Mother “Mary Arden”, would be totally destroyed by this outrageously large modern development, which has no place in this historic rural idyll. The road infrastructure currently does not cope with commuters between Birmingham and Stratford with hundreds of millions of pounds required to improve the current situation, let alone with an estimated 10,000 additional vehicles. Stratford and Wilmcote do not require additional housing based on Births and deaths. This planned housing would not be for local people as there is absolutely no requirement.
