Shipston has no train station, the bus service is infrequent or non-existant to major towns.

Health services are inadequate for the current population of the town.

Road layout is poor with single track roads. Traffic is already problematic.

Shipston is susceptible to flooding.

Currently the existing sewage system is over capacity causing frequent problems for existing residents.

Local employment opportunities are poor and appears to be declining.

Commuting would entail long distance travel to reach employment hubs .

Parking is too limited for current town population.

The High is already over subscribed.
