Building housing on this green belt land should be avoided and other sites are more suitable. Kenilworth has already been allocated numerous new housing sites and there will not be enough secondary school provision for any more new housing. The new school has only just been built and has a capacity of not more than an additional 200 children. The area has low housing capacity and lacks essential amenities within a 20-minute reach, and local services are already overstretched. The development would negatively impact local biodiversity, landscape quality, and the safety of cyclists on National Cycle Route 52.
