The purpose of "Stratford to Honeybourne former railway – safeguarding the route of the former railway south of Stratford-upon-Avon to Honeybourne to facilitate re-opening" opens up into a completely irrational project that has been tried and rejected before.
It was then pointed out that even at highly subsidised ticket prices, this railway line could never be viable. At the time, they even came up with having DB Schenker as an investor, for a line with, as they said, *purely passenger traffic*. Imagine DB's good hearts!
Safeguard our Greenway and its recreational use! The Honeybourne Project is a dead egg.
