The area of SG01 has many plusses for residential capacity development, in that the employment sectors are so near, with far easier transport links to the road network. The northern portion lies outside Green belt, and HS2 has already carved a noisy corridor through existing Green belt which can be somewhat regenerated along with new infrastructure build to mitigate impact. The total area of this land is more than 3 times larger than SG04, and will more than satisfy the strategic growth requirements between Kenilworth and Coventry. This land could be considered in part, retaining some areas of Green belt.
