Shipston on Stour does not have facilities for any further housing or populations, there suitable doctors and dental surgeries for any further population, the secondary school is at capacity, there is little employment within or near the town. Ref 148 & 747 regular floods which closes access via the bridge and could potentially mean an huge amount of traffic travelling via Honington or Willington to access an already congested and chaotic town centre. Emergency services take too long to reach the town and an ambulance regularly takes in excess of two hours to reach the town.
