The development of this green belt land would destroy the wildlife corridors that have existed in this area for centuries. This would have serious implications for the biodiversity of our countryside. In this age of accelerating global warming our first priority should be protecting our wildlife. If we do not do this we are not protecting our future on this planet. There will not be anyone left to purchase homes. There would be a huge increase in light, air and noise pollution and flooding from surface water run off. Our villages are amazing communities that need preserving.
