This site is unsuitable and has previously been rejected as a G&T settlement
It includes the "west ham" of the River Avon and a significant part of the site is subject to flooding as shown on the Floodplain maps.
As a residential site it would be separated from all Barford village facilities by the A429 and would not provide sustainable ACTIVE TRAVEL - there would be total car dependency and therefore fail to meet Strategic objectives.
Access could only be from the A429 - a road already with significant safety issues and fatalities.
