Hatton Station suffers from the same issues as Kingswood, it is small, lacks parking, and the rail line is already at capacity according to WCC’s Rail Strategy. The station geography makes it very difficult to provide substantial expansion, in platform length or parking. Without railway improvement, a settlement here would be car dependent, causing traffic issues into Warwick and breaking the 20-minute neighbourhood principles. The site is in the Green Belt and would lead to effective expansion of Warwick town.
