The green belt should be protected, especially as there are other areas under consideration which are far more suitable, ie with better infrastructure such as transport links already in place.
At present there are several areas in Kenilworth already being developed. The building of an extra 1,271 new houses would put an extra strain on the existing infrastructure, ie doctors, dentists, schools and roads.
Building on the green belt would cause loss of good quality farmland and animal habitat, also it would spoil the character of our town and countryside.
Please preserve our green and pleasant land.
