I oppose the B1 development due to several key concerns: it will worsen traffic congestion on the already busy B1477, compromise road safety, and strain local infrastructure. The development encroaches on protected Green Belt and Canal areas, threatening local businesses, tourism, and vital green spaces. Its scale is incompatible with the rural character of the countryside, drastically changing the area’s landscape. It also risks damaging local ecosystems, wildlife habitats, and protected trees. Additionally, the influx of new residents will burden public services, including schools, healthcare, and utilities, which are already under pressure
