Road safety: Proximity of site to ‘S’ bend on B4098 entering Great Alne from Alcester. A potential accident black-spot given the blind bends and narrow roads. It is also hazardous for pedestrians who only have access to a narrow pavement along one side of carriageway.
Excessive scale of development relative to current size of village: Sheer size of development with additional 116 dwellings has potential to over-load the village's infrastructure & amenities, impacting local residents and disturbing wildlife's natural habitats. Ecological impact of noise & air pollution must be considered.
