The site is close to Oakley Wood, a historic iron age fort and also to Ashorne and Newbold Pacey which are conservation villages. It occupies prime agricultural land and links up with Leamington Spa without green spaces. Traffic congestion is already very bad and the local schools and medical facilities are totally inadequate for such development,. Public transport in the area is almost non existent and therefore there will be more cars on the roads which are not suitable for heavier use. Currently this is a peaceful part of rural Warwickshire with so many valuable historical links.
