The proposal for housing development East of Gaydon will complete the detrimental overwhelming of our locality. The proposed commercial development (see SDC eplanning 23/01054/OUT) is subject to a massive, coherent body of opposition from both residents and multiple institutions based on the exponential increase in air, noise, flood and sewage pollution it will bring. Over the past 40 years, Gaydon village has stoically, co-existed with some of the most extensive housing, commercial and road developments in the UK. The current and proposed infrastructure will not be adequate for already overwhelmed amenities (n.b. Gaydon floods 2007). Further development would be criminal.
