I firmly oppose the construction of homes on the Clopton Quarter. Developing this green belt land would damage the landscape, disrupt biodiversity, and threaten local wildlife habitats. Increased traffic will lead to poorer air quality, negatively affecting residents' health. The existing infrastructure cannot handle the additional strain, and removing natural drainage will heighten the risk of flooding. Protecting this land is essential for the environment and future generations. This proposal is unsustainable and should be stopped. Urban expansion here would also have a devastating impact on the Welcombe Hills Nature Reserve.
