The proposed SG14, covering >190 hectares, will have a significant detrimental impact to biodiversity, heritage sites, rural character as well as to our local community of eight households in Lower and Upper Spring Farm. Any development within the Feldon Basin will be visible from several viewing positions in the surrounding landscape, including Burton Dassett.

There are multiple concerns, including irrecoverable damage to the landscape, increased environmental pollution, strain on local infrastructure, flood risks, and transportation issues. Such a large-scale development at SG14 would be inappropriate, particularly considering alternative locations within SWGP with better infrastructure, transportation links, and fewer environmental constraints.
