This site is the most suitable of all the new settlements proposed. It is well supported by the existing infrastructure including the B4632. It is accessible to Stratford-upon-Avon with the full provision of services including healthcare, retail, leisure and employment opportunities. The site offers continuation to the current established and successful developments of Meon Vale and Fernleigh Park. The old airfield environment does not include any specific rural habitats which should be protected nor does continued development here result in the loss of any strategically important agriculture businesses.
