This site is valuable green belt, the area is unspoilt, with pristine countryside, including a strategically important long-established dairy farm. This all should not be lost. There is no advantage in terms of infrastructure, insufficient power and land drainage, country lanes which cannot support any increase in traffic and there is no access to the M40. The B4439 is completely unsuitable. As a narrow and hilly road with sharp bends and dips, greater traffic use would be dangerous. There are insufficient community facilities for retail, health or education, no employment opportunities locally and Hatton station is unsuitable to be expanded.
