Agree in principal with the Draft Policy but the recommendations need to to maintained. Too many proposals in the past have been made and then compromised. Several years ago there was an East bypass over the river Avon that was supposed to be completed before further housing went ahead south of the River Avon. This never happened and Clopton Bridge is overloaded with traffic and if it had to be repaired traffic would come to a stand still.
Giving up the rail wayleaf from the Stratford going South has cut off the link south and reduced the capacity.
