If this development goes ahead it will destroy the biodiversity of the area. A new town that is divided by the busy A3400 will put lives at risk. There have been several deaths on this stretch of road over the 18 years that I have lived in the village. The area in question suffers greatly with water run off which makes very tricky driving conditions on the already busy A3400. In addition the surrounding roads can’t cope with the increase in traffic as they are already congested and the trains do not have the capacity to absorb the excess population.
