My daughter cycles to Kenilworth School. There are no cycle lanes. Cycling on Rouncil Lane is already very busy, including very large lorries going to the abattoir. There are no feasible plans to ensure safe cycling as it is, and massively increasing traffic in south Kenilworth will only worsen the situation.

Green belt should be preserved and there is plenty of non-Green belt land available. For example, developing the old sixth form school site in Kenilworth makes sense for housing - but not losing more fields. Finally, schools in this area are full and there is already limited ameneties.
