Further development around the M40 Junction 12 is un-sustainable. The junction and roads connecting, particular the B4451 Gaydon Road running adjacent to this site is incredibly congested at rush hour due to growth of Bishops Itchington and the JLR traffic accessing the Gaydon site. Further development here would exacerbate this and add to motorway hard shoulder tail backs and congestion. Further, the site runs adjacent to Knightcote Bottoms, which is a narrow single width road with Roman heritage as a 'salt road'. The area is rich with Roman and iron-age archaeology as has been identified by the Solar Farm development.
