Specifically I disagree with Clopton quarter within SG18 being considered for inclusion. This is green belt land and developing it will negatively impact the Welcombe Hills which is treasured by local residents and wildlife. Developing right next to it would destroy the openness and sense of space for residents as well as causing significant ecological damage to local wildlife. Developing here would endanger and destroy habitats of many protected species including bats, hedgehogs and barn owls. It would also exacerbate Birmingham road congestion and pollution which is already a nightmare for residents on a daily basis!
