I object to building 8,000 homes around Hatton railway station. This would add approx 16,000 cars to our roads, leading to:
Traffic Congestion
Air Pollution: Increased emissions harming public health.
Noise Pollution: Higher noise levels affecting residents' quality of life.
Public Health Concerns: Exacerbating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
The suggestion that residents will primarily use the railway as a mode of transport is unfounded. Surveys indicate multiple barriers to this statement, such as high ticket prices.
Lane Farm has been worked over many years, a sustainable source of food and employment how can you justify building here instead of elsewhere?
