We've lived in Bearley for nearly 20 years and are surrounded by beautiful countryside. The land proposed for the new town has a tendency to flood; this would cause destruction to many properties and land. It would also destroy the wildlife corridors and green belt between Bearley and surrounding villages. Do we really want a sprawling town which would increase our population by 2000%? Our infrastructure would be unable to cope; it's already struggling since the building of many new houses/businesses on roads leading into Stratford upon Avon. We must act responsibly and protect our beautiful countryside for future generations.
