The proximity of this proposal to the urban borders of Coventry and Kenilworth in such a small gap would lead to the conurbation of this area. This area contributes significantly to all 5 stated purposed of greenbelt particularly in restricting urban sprawl and in preventing the neighbouring towns merging; or in this case a city swallowing a town. Both Kenilworth and Coventry and Historic and despite modern edge of town developments, deserve to maintain their individual identities.
