I formally object to the proposed housing developments in Hockley Heath due to multiple concerns. Increased traffic and congestion would worsen our already strained roads, especially during motorway disruptions. The tranquillity of our village, vital for residents and wildlife, would be disrupted. Parking is already inadequate, and public transport is lacking. Flooding issues would worsen with construction on saturated fields. Our small community cannot support a significant population increase, which would strain local amenities, schools, and emergency services. I urge reconsideration of these planning applications to protect our village's character and quality of life.
